Who are the authors of this website?
We’re
Paul and Joanne Helfrich and we live in Lewes, Delaware. We’re friends of Mary Ennis and neighbors
of Ron and Cathy Churchman who live in Oxnard, CA. We have worked to
make the Elias information available over the years. It’s truly been a
labor of love.
The body of information offered by Elias also represents the contribution of many others who create transcripts, attend sessions, ask questions, and provide their support, encouragement, time, feedback, and additional resources. The information benefits from the participation of each individual, and you will probably find your own unique ways to interact with it, hence the website’s name – “the Elias forum.”

- There are presently 165 Digests containing over 6,000 pages of Essential Elias – various terms, concepts, metaphors, analogies, allegories, and aphorisms he has introduced and consistently refers to.
- The purpose of the Digests is to introduce these terms, etc. in a “reader’s digest” format that provides a depth by subject that is not available in any single transcript.
- The Digests are also in a linear order that reveals the development and consistency of Elias’ ideas as they unfold in time. Each excerpt is presented with a link to its original transcript so that a reader can easily access its original context.
- Every group session is included in the Digests, since they contain the most in-depth explanations and interactions.
- Transcripts
- The site contains a complete set of the 1995-to-date Elias transcripts edited by Vicki Pendley and Bobbi Houle. We’re also happy to include the complementary 1996-to-date Paul (Patel) transcripts offered by Ron Churchman.
- Exercises
- Elias has offered many exercises (at least 76 to date) that allow anyone to directly experience the concepts he discusses. He repeatedly states that personal experience is our best teacher, and these exercises provide a set of tools for anyone who wishes to put these ideas to work.
- Gems
- There are now over 650 quotes in our database. Some people access “random” quotes as an easy way to enter the site and begin reading transcripts. Just pick a quote and then click on the link to the original transcript.
- Library
- Explore complementary resources that you can print for your own reference. Printing Tips:
To spend less on paper and printer cartridges, and save a tree or two:
Tip #1: print double-sided, you'll get twice as much!
Tip #2: if you have a color printer you may wish to print in grayscale to save ink. Press CTRL+P, then click on PRINTER PROPERTIES or SETTINGS, then click on grayscale. Be sure to click on OK to save the change.
Tip #3: use the following page settings to get the most per page when printing. Press ALT+F, click on PAGE SETUP, then type in:
