ELIAS: Good morning!

ALL: Good morning, Elias! (Elias chuckles)

LETTY: Do you want me to start?

STELLA: Yes.

LETTY: Okay, hi.

ELIAS: Welcome.

LETTY: My first request is if you would do a scan on me. I don’t feel it anymore, but a couple of weeks ago I had a strange manifestation in my body that I had never created. It had to do with a pain in my neck and then at the same time, whether it was related or not, my ears. And they hurt a lot! I had never had that happen before. Of course, I go to the doctor’s and I’m fine, there’s nothing wrong and the pain is gone. But I’m trying to see what I was creating around that time, and I still wanted to get checked by you first.

ELIAS: Very well. And your impression as to what you have been creating?

LETTY: Well, I’m not sure about the neck. I know it’s like a support, so maybe it was telling me I wasn’t quite supporting myself. The ear kind of brings me to my attention; maybe I’m listening more outside instead of listening inside is what I kind of came up with. The reason for that is because of what we discussed on Saturday with Cindel. I am very comfortable where I am right now and not looking for another job, and at the same time I have those twinges of...

(The video recorder stops recording. Mary returns, fixes the equipment, and the session continues.)

ELIAS: Continuing.

LETTY: There is more related to all this. I had some friends over right after the holidays and I was showing them my room and my fireplace, and out of the blue all my smoke detectors went off very, very loud. Was that my energy with yours, or was that... (Elias nods in agreement) It was both of us?

ELIAS: Yes.

LETTY: And it was just kind of like an attention getter because of where I was and where my attention was?

ELIAS: Yes.

LETTY: That’s what I thought. Thank you very much.

ELIAS: (Chuckles) You are welcome.

LETTY: It was scary for the moment, but then it was fun when I realized exactly what that was. (Elias chuckles) Thank you.

ELIAS: You are welcome.

ISABEL: Hi, Elias. Now that we are talking about health, I discovered that I have high blood pressure, and that really shook me up. I feel fine, but I know how dangerous it is to have high blood pressure. So I have no choice but going to the doctor. I know the doctor was going to put me on pills, and that was something that I didn’t want to do. I have noticed that I have been able to cut down on food, because I like to eat a lot of the wrong food. (Elias chuckles) I have been able to do that.

One thing I haven’t been able to do is quit cigarettes, and the more I try, the more I smoke. I noticed that it’s like I am divided in two. My body is like rejecting the cigarettes, but I still keep pushing it, keep lighting up the cigarettes. I don’t know why I’m doing that when I am so concerned about my health. It’s like my own body is fighting it and the other me is trying to convince it that it’s okay to keep smoking. I don’t know why I’m doing that.

ELIAS: First of all, it is familiar and it is an action that expresses comfort in that familiarity. What is interesting is that you notice that your physical body is expressing a resistance to this action, which is significant. For, I have expressed previously with other individuals, especially within this time framework, many actions that are familiar do not fit within your awareness any longer. Therefore, as you attempt to continue incorporating those familiar actions, there is a struggle that occurs which generates frustration within individuals, for they are attempting to be continuing actions that their awareness is too wide to accommodate.

Your awareness has widened, and in this, some of the familiar actions you automatically resist, for they do not accommodate the wideness of your awareness and they are limiting.

Now; it is not necessarily that the action of smoking is limiting or even dangerous to you. But in conjunction with your beliefs and your awareness of your beliefs and your movement into not struggling or attempting to eliminate beliefs, moving into more of an action in conjunction with the wideness of your awareness, you generate physical signals to trigger different noticings of actions that are familiar and may have been comforting previously, but do not fit within your movement in conjunction with accepting your expressed beliefs and not engaging conflict with them any longer.

In this, an element of the struggle is the concentration, the automatic responses. As you continue to move in that familiar, what you are generating is fighting with yourself in conjunction with your awareness. Your awareness is expressing “I recognize this belief; I understand and have assimilated information enough to recognize that it is pointless to be struggling with my beliefs, and I understand the significance of acknowledging my expressed beliefs and therefore moving into an acceptance and a neutralization of them.” But you continue to engage the action, which creates the struggle.

In this, you are attempting to convince yourself in opposition to your expressed belief. Your expressed belief is that if you are engaging this action of smoking that it is harmful and dangerous and that it contributes to physical conditions, but the action itself is a familiar comfort. So you struggle and attempt to continue, but that moves against the expressed belief.

Now; once you are acknowledging fully the expressed belief and you discontinue the struggle in association with it, you offer yourself choice, and you may choose to be engaging this action or not. In either action, you shall experience more of an ease. But in this time framework, you do not view it as a choice. Therefore, you are forcing. (Pause)

ISABEL: My eye is getting better. Still I have double vision from the sand that I got in my eye. I finally have to go to the doctor, to the eye doctor, to clean it out for me. But still, this eye, if I close this one it’s a little bit of double vision; I hope maybe soon would be fine. And everything else is fine! (Elias chuckles) This is working fine, Elias.

Now I am more relaxed and not tired. I feel the anger that sometimes I have inside of me, and I always said maybe I am too tired or whatever, that is getting easier and I can relax now. I can sit down and read a book and I’m not thinking, you know, what else do I have to do. Before, I really did not concentrate in doing what I have to do or reading my book. That’s how busy my mind was...

ELIAS: Yes.

ISABEL: ...and now it’s different. It’s okay if this is what I want to do. I’m doing it and I don’t feel guilty about it. So that has changed and I am very happy I am accomplishing.

ELIAS: Which is to be acknowledged, for that is a tremendous movement. And your interaction with (inaudible)?

ISABEL: It’s getting better, in the sense that we don’t fight, because we were always fighting. Now we say “good morning” with a smile, and like this morning, had coffee and all that and “I’m leaving,” “Okay, bye-bye,” “You going to be here for lunch?” “I don’t know, I try to be here for lunch.” So not that heavy argument and “you did this to me” and then he says I did that to him, and all that confrontation. It seems like now we have the understanding that we haven’t done anything to each other, so it’s a peace of mind.

ELIAS: Very well! And I am acknowledging of this also, for this a tremendous movement and an expression of much more of an ease, and also an evidence of paying attention to yourself much more fully, rather than projecting your attention to him.

ISABEL: Yesterday, in Columbia, his nephew was very sick. He had a stroke and a heart attack at the same time; everything went wrong. He was telling Roberto when he got there, when this happened he started to cry, and he said, “Well, don’t tell me, it’s making you get upset.” So he says, “No, it’s so beautiful that I wanted to tell you.” He said that when these things happened, he felt like he was floating out. They put his body on a table, and yes, he died maybe for a minute or so. He says he found himself floating and then he was going up, little by little up. Doing that, he says that he was ecstatic to feel. It was something that he cannot explain how beautiful it is. He said he saw some monks with white capes on, and they were all sitting looking at him but they did not speak to him or anything. He wanted to get in there; he WANTED to be in there.

When they started to give the electric shocks for his heart to get pumping, he says everything went cloudy and he started to go in reverse, but he didn’t want to go in reverse. He says it was so real he wanted to stay there because it was so peaceful. He says he cannot explain the feeling because there is no feeling like that over here, and then suddenly he just has to return to the pain and all the wiring and everything.

He is doing fine, but it was a beautiful experience, and I said that’s what we learn from Elias, that it is not so bad to die, that we always sort of pray. He said it was beautiful.

ELIAS: Which is an offering to himself to dissipate the fear of death.

ISABEL: Because the more we learn, the more peaceful we are, not afraid to be old because I’m going to die, you know, so terrible. It’s getting like it’s a nice feeling not to worry about it. It’s going to happen but...

ELIAS: Merely a movement to a different area.

ISABEL: And a nice one. Thank you, Elias.

STELLA: Hi, Elias!

ELIAS: Welcome, Cindel! (Chuckles) And how is your frustration?

STELLA: Actually, it’s gotten better. (Elias chuckles) Thank you so much for allowing me to understand a little bit of what I was doing. I think this wave in consciousness has been the hardest for me, this one.

ELIAS: For many individuals.

STELLA: I’ve been noticing, I don’t think I had that problem with all the other ones, but this one has been very difficult. At the same time, I am very grateful because I wasn’t quite aware of the absoluteness of everything. I see it every single moment. Every single moment there is an absolute.

ELIAS: Which is quite interesting and liberating, for many individuals do not yet recognize how very many absolutes they incorporate.

STELLA: I’ve definitely seen it in all aspects, and I think my mom has been a wonderful... (Laughs)

ELIAS: Catalyst? (Laughs)

STELLA: Yes, definitely. No other person like her can allow me to look at myself is how I look at her, and it’s like, how is Stella looking at you? But even in that, if like now I notice with the relationship there is a sense of ease-ness coming from her to me, I know I’m creating that. I understand from that that there’s a little more acceptance on my part. I continue to have my twinges when she continues to go with her beliefs and everything, and I know that that’s the absoluteness of my beliefs. That’s where it’s coming, but it’s not coming so much as the judgment on my part, so I’ve been noticing that.

One of the areas related to this frustration is the consistency. No wonder I always have the feeling that the frustration is so much, I’m a very consistent individual in everything I do. If I can have bagels every single day, I do, and that’s part of who I am and part of my choice and part of my preference. In not fighting that, I think I’m starting to understand the frustration behind this job thing, because yes, I’ve done this for so long. This has been my life: you get up and go to work and you have consistency throughout the day. It kind of puts things in order and everything.

I was fighting it, because I kept thinking I have to give myself time. In the thinking I have to give myself time to get to know me more, to be with my mother more, to learn more about me, to know all these aspects, if I’m working I’m not going to be able to do this, I don’t have time. See, I was in that mode, and fighting not finding a job, not getting a job and stuff like that.

I think in just these past two days I have been able to relax my energy somewhat. I did make an appointment, I have an appointment tomorrow to go see an agency. But then again, even that shifted too, because they’re not going to get me a job. Nobody’s capable of getting me a job, and it was so clear this morning. I had a dream with the big boss in (inaudible). I have been dreaming a lot about him. It was interesting, because he was in my dream last night and he’s been in my dreams a lot. But anyway, to go back to this thing, when I woke up this morning it’s like I’ve been putting myself at the mercy of others getting me a job. And fuck it, nobody’s going to get me a job, you know? So it’s like I’m going to be able to choose.

ELIAS: Yes.

STELLA: And it’s wonderful. So I am the one that is choosing the job for me. Whatever the hell it is, I’m choosing it.

ELIAS: Correct.

STELLA: That is a tremendous, tremendous change in focus in my attention, it really is.

ELIAS: Yes.

STELLA: So this morning everything felt different. It changed. Everything feels different.

ELIAS: Yes.

STELLA: I’m excited about it now. I was thinking I’ll never get a job, but then I look at my beliefs – so many people apply to the same job, how the hell is my minute resume going to do anything? Well, here I see the belief I have about myself.

ELIAS: Yes.

STELLA: So how are they going to find me? Well of course not, because I’m not feeling that. That was an opening, too. So in just a few days I’ve been able to kind of get a sense of this.

ELIAS: Which is significant, Cindel, and it is significant for many individuals, for your automatic association with the term of freedom is time. That is your first association, that if you are generating freedom with yourself and a freedom of your expression, your first incorporation or your first requirement to be expressing that freedom is to be incorporating time.

This is the reason that many individuals move in a direction in conjunction with their beliefs and think that they want to incorporate the action of winning a lottery. For if they are incorporating that action of acquiring great sums of money, that shall afford them time. Time is the key element – not necessarily the money but that it affords them time.

What many individuals do not incorporate an objective recognition of yet is the identification of their own preferences and that time is not necessarily conducive to their preferences. Some individuals, yes. Some individuals have incorporated enough of an objective awareness of their preferences to know and to express and experience a comfort in the incorporation of time which is not structured, and that moves in conjunction with their personality, their direction and their preferences, as we have stated.

But some individuals do not prefer to be unstructured. Some individuals prefer to be incorporating routine. This is not to say that you do not incorporate enough time to be evaluating and examining yourself and paying attention and noticing yourself and becoming more intimate; you merely incorporate a different method and engage that action of becoming familiar with yourself through the actions that you do within your routines or within your structure.

But this is not to say that within the action of structure or routine that you cannot be directing yourself. You choose to be incorporating that structure or that routine, for it is a preference, but you also recognize that it is your choice and that it is not hindering your ability to be directing of yourself, that you are what is creating the type of structure, the type of routine, and how you shall maneuver in that direction. YOU are the individual that is generating the money. You are not receiving it; YOU are creating it. YOU are creating the employment, as you have stated. You are choosing the employer. The employer is not choosing you. Therefore, it is all of your creation.

In this, it is significant that you have allowed yourself to notice your preferences. You have offered yourself the experience of not incorporating the employment and not incorporating a motivation to be seeking employment for financial reasons, but have offered yourself this experience to become more familiar with your preferences, that you do not prefer to be, in your association, idle. You prefer busyness – which is not wrong and is not limiting.

I may express to you, in this now there are many, many, many individuals that flounder in incorporating time which is not structured, in which they do not perceive that they incorporate guidelines, and they are their preferences. They continue, in not being aware of their preferences, to move their attention in manners to seek out magical methods to be offering them what they think they want, but what they think they want is not necessarily what they genuinely want. For in conjunction with their individual beliefs, they would not prefer to be what they also would consider as idle, and they would not necessarily prefer the environment that they would create in that time.

Many individuals express a wish that they would be incorporating these finances which would be the avenue to afford them the time to be incorporating the actions that they want to be doing, but they do not know what they want to do. Therefore, were they to be incorporating that action – which they won’t, for they know inwardly they would be engaging other actions that they express that they should or must or even want to be incorporating: more time with family, more time within their home; or more time to be incorporating actions that they now view that they do not have enough time to be incorporating: reading a book, gardening, etcetera – in actuality, in those actions, they may be incorporating much more frustration than in their structure.

STELLA: Thank you so much, Elias! (Laughs)

ELIAS: You may express temporarily – previously – an expectation of yourself that you SHOULD be incorporating more time within your home and in conjunction with your mother, but you obviously have offered yourself evidence of the frustration that that generates and that your preference is not to be incorporating extended time frameworks with your mother – although she does provide you with interesting reflections, and I am aware that you appreciate her presence and your interaction with her, but in limited time spans.

STELLA: Yes. (Laughs, and Elias laughs loudly)

ELIAS: This is significant in recognizing preferences in association with what we discussed in our group interaction, and I am aware of Michael’s interaction also in his presentation of an evaluation of this information. This is quite significant, to recognize your preferences and also recognize your expectations of yourself and your automatic associations in relation to those expectations, for I may concur Michael’s assessment of acceptance. I am aware that you express acceptance and appreciation in conjunction with your relationship with your mother, but you incorporate preferences also. In acknowledgment of those preferences, it does not negate your acceptance merely that you do not enjoy incorporating interaction with her for extended time frameworks. (Chuckles)

LETTY: Elias, I am going to extend that over to me. Stella and I have always, since we met up again, we have a lot in common and our energies work really well, and when we speak I kind of like reflect on myself, too. But I consider myself somebody that does not like structure. Even when I’m working, it’s like every day I want it to be a little different, whether I take a different route to work or I start doing something else, my phone calls instead of paperwork or report, whatever it may be. I don’t like routine; I’m completely the opposite. Is that also within the same?

Again, I think that’s part of the conflict of the communication, that I wasn’t quite being genuine with myself. Because I have enjoyed my time and yet I have been so busy that I haven’t been able to read that book, and I still don’t have that... I don’t know if I’m also waiting. That’s part of the conflict I have within myself sometimes, that I have this time because I am not working and yet I still don’t find the time or make the time to read that book. I have a list of projects I want to do at my house, and I find myself doing other things during the day and never get to it. At the same time, I’m trying to understand my preferences. Can you help me understand me?

ELIAS: Let me express to you, Castille, you are offering yourself a different action. You are correct in your assessment, you and Cindel in some respects do incorporate what you would term to be opposite preferences and movements, but they also are quite complementary of each other. Which is significant, for in your sharing with each other you each offer yourselves considerable information and allow yourselves to be more clearly evaluating your own directions and your own movements and your own preferences.

You are incorporating a time framework now, Castille, to allow yourself that lack of structure. You may be incorporating your list of projects but that also is an expression of structure and routine, which is familiar. The frustration arises in generating an expectation of yourself that you must be accomplishing the production of those projects. This is the reason that it is significant, as I have expressed many times previously, to be paying attention not merely to what you think but to be paying attention to your communications also and to what you are actually doing. For what you are actually doing is much more accurate than what you are thinking – unless you have moved into an expression of balancing all three of these actions.

But in this, as you allow yourself the freedom to incorporate whatever actions that you choose, regardless of whether they are actions that you have incorporated upon your list, know within you that your time is not limited and that if you are incorporating actions now and not affording yourself time to be reading a particular book, you are generating that action purposefully. In this time framework, perhaps whatever information is expressed in the book that you wish to be reading it is not the time framework yet for you to be assimilating that; you are not ready to be assimilating that, or your perception is distracted and perhaps you would not be incorporating the type of understanding of the information that you will within a different time framework. All of your actions are purposeful.

You have allowed yourself previously in your employment, in increments and within the structure, to generate some alterations to express that freedom of movement within you. But now you have offered yourself a time framework in which you may direct yourself in whatever manner you choose. You may appreciate and enjoy the lack of any structure or rules or demands and allow yourself to express yourself in your preferences, which also affords you the opportunity to be discovering your preferences more clearly. For in actions that you are incorporating, you begin to recognize which actions you are comfortable with, which actions you offer yourself a hesitation with. You may incorporate the action regardless, but you are incorporating a time framework in which you may notice those moments in which you are hesitating initially and communicating to yourself, “No, I do not actually want to be incorporating this action. Ah! This is not one of my preferences.”

You are generating the same action as Cindel; you are merely incorporating different methods of generating your preferences or noticing your preferences. You have both chosen the same action, discontinuing your employment, and your responses to that are similar and dissimilar. There is some frustration with you in association with what you SHOULD be doing; there is also with you. (To Letty) There is a recognition of what you PREFER to be doing and you are noticing that you do not prefer this structure. (To Stella) You notice that you DO prefer this structure; therefore, you are offering yourself information in a different type of imagery. But as much as it appears to be opposite, it incorporates more similarities than you recognize.

LETTY: We have a couple of validations – actually, Cindel came up with them – about my siblings in this focus. One of them she came up with was where my brother Walter is Milo and his wife is Trini. And are they married? I don’t know. This is like in 1888.

ELIAS: Yes.

LETTY: And they are husband and wife?

ELIAS: Yes.

LETTY: Then there was another one around the 17th century, where my brother Walter is the son of his current wife right now, and his name was Troyan or something.

ELIAS: Correct.

STELLA: Two points! (All laugh)

LETTY: Has she had a lot of focuses with who is my family right now, too?

ELIAS: Yes.

STELLA: I feel very endearing to Milo, very, very endearing, so I think very, very close. I think in a way that has allowed Fran to open up somewhat to my energy. I don’t think otherwise it would have been because of the relationship we had, so I think that is a lot of the bleed-through.

ELIAS: And the familiarity. Also, do not discount the energy that you are expressing now in this focus. For as you all have incorporated a significant widening of your awareness, you also have incorporated a significant opening and exposure of yourselves, which is recognized by other individuals and allows other individuals to express more comfort and ease in interaction, for they recognize that energy expression. Regardless of whether they incorporate a translation in thought or not, the energy is recognized, and that generates a comfortableness in interaction with other individuals, which is significant.

Therefore, it is not merely bleed-through. It is also the energy that you are projecting now in this focus, and each of the three of you are generating that in much greater capacity than you have previously, which is being evidenced in your interactions with other individuals and their ease in their interaction with you, and the ease in your creations and less conflict or struggle in what you generate in association with all that you create.

LETTY: A quick question is I feel like Quinian is assimilating much of your information without necessarily reading transcripts or being present.

ELIAS: Correct. Which, as I have expressed previously with other individuals, it is not always necessary for an individual to be interactive with myself or to be interactive with the information in conjunction with transcriptions or recordings. This is the reason that I offered the explanation concerning the energy exchange previously and what the action is that is occurring.

As I generate interaction with each of you, I am not merely interacting with each of you. I am also projecting energy in conjunction with every other individual that YOU interact with, and am offering my energy to each of you in conjunction with that and in supportiveness of you. For every individual that you interact with, and especially those individuals that you interact with more intimately, they are receiving information through you, through your example, through your actions, regardless of whether you speak to them or communicate to them in conjunction with this information, so to speak. You are anyway, for you are what you would term to be living it. Therefore, your actions, your communications, your energy are reflecting that and are projecting that to all these other individuals, and therefore they are also assimilating.

In a manner of speaking, I am engaging a similar energy exchange with each of you that I do with Michael. For as I project energy to each of you, you engage an energy exchange with myself, and you project energy through you, from me, to the other individuals, and they are assimilating and they are offering themselves avenues to be incorporating this information.

This is the reason that I offered the explanation concerning Michael and the affectingness of these group interactions. The reason that they may be more challenging is that I am not merely interacting with each of you present, but I am projecting an energy which is volumous enough to be channeled, so to speak, through each of you to be affecting of every other individual that you interact with.

LETTY: Thank you.

STELLA: Wow. That’s quite powerful!

ELIAS: Quite versatile!

STELLA: Yes. (Elias laughs) Well, thank you so much, Elias.

ELIAS: You are very welcome. I express, as always, to each of you my great lovingness and affection and friendship.

ALL: Thank you.

ELIAS: Until our next meeting, which I am anticipating, in great friendship, my friends, to each of you, au revoir.

ALL: ‘Bye, Elias.
