“Impressions and Dreams”
“The Flexibility of Time”
Participants: Mary (Michael) and Bobbi (Jale).
(Elias’ arrival time is 20 seconds.)
ELIAS: Good afternoon!
BOBBI: Hello, Elias.
ELIAS: (Chuckles) Again!
BOBBI: Yes, relatively soon – for me. I just have fun stuff today.
ELIAS: Very well.
BOBBI: Hopefully fun! (Elias chuckles) I saw my sister last week, and she was wondering about her daughter Christine who is fascinated with the Egyptian Imhotep. She was wondering if that is a focus of her daughter’s. (Pause)
ELIAS: No, but is known to that individual and this is the reason for the fascination.
BOBBI: Could you tell me Christine’s essence name, please?
ELIAS: Essence name, Orlah, O-R-L-A-H (OAR lah).
BOBBI: That’s nice, thank you. I was thinking, is there any chance she was she fragmented from the essence of Yan, my son Chris, that his essence was one of the fragmenting essences?
BOBBI: I thought I noticed that connection! For herself, my sister has always been interested in Mary Queen of Scots, and was wondering if she held that focus.
BOBBI: I was thinking, considering her affection for that person, she was maybe a lady-in-waiting or something like that. Thank you.
I was talking to Marj/Grady at the Fresno group session, and I was suddenly struck by an impression of her as a rather strong French queen in the past. I was thinking perhaps Eleanor of Aquitaine or Mary of Guise, who was the mother of Mary Queen of Scots. Was she either one of those?
ELIAS: The first.
BOBBI: Really? Eleanor of Aquitaine? Cool! And could you please tell me that I was not Bloody Mary? (Laughing)
ELIAS: (Leans forward, laughing) And I shall confirm this! You were not!
BOBBI: Thank you! Shew, okay! Around that period of time, trying to place myself, I think I was closely associated with Catherine of Aragon because I’m fond of her, either as her mother or a lady-in-waiting.
ELIAS: The latter.
BOBBI: I can see that. I read her story and thought oh, poor thing! (Elias chuckles) I was wondering if my mother, essence name Ducham, if her essence holds a focus as Annie Oakley, the lady sharp-shooter.
BOBBI: (Laughing) I’m just giving myself points here!
ELIAS: Ha ha ha! Very well, this is quite acceptable! (Laughs)
BOBBI: My friend Marianne, who I’ve spoken to you about before, I would like to know her essence name – she’s Sumari/Zuli – and also if she might be a political focus. I was just curious.
ELIAS: Yes. Essence name, Diera, D-I-E-R-A (DEER ah).
BOBBI: Thank you. I have a Game entry...
BOBBI: ...under Gemstones, I would like to align myself with citrine under Physical Focus Essence Connections.
ELIAS: One point.
BOBBI: This one I’m probably just off the deep end here, but I asked you about Brian Epstein the manager of the Beatles the last time we spoke; Xutrah thought he might be a focus of his. Is that a focus of mine?
BOBBI: I had a dream, after watching this movie about battling British warships (the movie was “Master and Commander”), that someone was calling me either “Sperry, man!” or “Sperryman!” So I’m thinking that was a focus I had on a ship similar to that. Is that correct?
BOBBI: Could you tell me which...
ELIAS: The latter.
BOBBI: The focus of Lawrence of Arabia, was that a focus of Patel?
ELIAS: (Chuckles) This is becoming quite a manhunt, is it not!
BOBBI: Yes, it is! (Laughs with Elias) We’ll track him down!
ELIAS: Ha ha ha ha! Yes, you are correct.
BOBBI: Really! Cool! In looking at all this stuff, I thought I noticed a similarity in that focus and the focus of Crazy Horse, the Native American Sioux.
ELIAS: There are similarities...
BOBBI: But not the same essence.
BOBBI: So as far as my part in the whole Lawrence of Arabia deal, I’ve narrowed it down to either being an observing essence of that focus, from the beginning of his military career to the end of his life, or his young Arab friend, Salim Ahmed.
ELIAS: The former.
BOBBI: That period of time is about correct?
BOBBI: My sister, Nancy again, had a dream about our friend Diane, the one who died recently of breast cancer, and this was the night before she disengaged. She dreamt that Diane was speaking to her, only she had the appearance of Sharon Osborne, this person who is on television, and she had these brilliant blue eyes, which were predominant in the dream. They talked and cried about their respective breast cancer experiences. At the end, Diane, still under the guise of Sharon Osborne, told her that she, Nancy herself, didn’t have to worry about that anymore, that her experience with that was over. So I’m assuming that’s information that my sister is giving to herself about that experience (Elias nods in agreement), but I was also wondering is there a connection or was she just sensing a similarity in energy or something? Why did she dress her up as that other person? (Pause)
ELIAS: As a comfort, less threatening; as an individual who is within physical focus rather than the association of one that is dead. Therefore, it is less threatening in association with the subject matter and that is the reason for the imagery. The energy was accurate; the energy was a projection of the other individual.
BOBBI: So it was an actual interaction?
BOBBI: Interesting! She’ll be excited to know that – although I think she knows that anyway.
These are just some miscellaneous focuses that I’ve never asked you about. The sorcerer chapter focus, I did a projection with Lawrence, gosh, several years ago, and I saw myself as this old hag, with one squinty eye and these snarly teeth – which was funny, because that’s what how she pictured me, too, in that projection – solitary, living outside the village, with a cat and living near a spring or running water. I knew her then simply as “Boy,” which was weird, because she told me later that Mary had also identified her previously as “Boy” in that focus. (Elias grins and nods) Is that correct?
ELIAS: Yes. (Chuckles)
BOBBI: I was noticing my squinty eye and she was laughing at my snarly teeth. That must have been quite a picture! (Laughs with Elias) I think Ruther has a similar focus in that... Was that the same one, were we sharing or observing, or just the woods were full of hags or...?
ELIAS: (Laughs) Perhaps not “full of”! But I may express that your focus is not the only one! Ha ha ha! Ah, this shall be interesting to Ruther, for appearance is of SUCH importance! Ha ha ha!
BOBBI: It doesn’t seem to be so much for a lot of mine! (Elias laughs with Bobbi)
I had an impression of another World War II focus, as a female in Paris who watches the German tanks rolling in. That was just kind of a snip I got, and it was quite traumatic for her.
BOBBI: Also during that timeframe, as a female in Japan who was a victim of the atomic blast in Nagasaki?
BOBBI: One of the first focuses I ever asked you about was my Pilgrim focus. The date I got was 1645, and his first name being Peter. Is that correct?
BOBBI: And he is aligned Borledim?
BOBBI: I kind of got a hint of a last name, something like Whatley.
BOBBI: Okay, thanks. My friend again, Diane, I have the impression that she’s my mother in a very close future focus, actually an overlapping focus, where I’m a little boy, maybe in Germany.
BOBBI: And would that be the final focus of Jale?
BOBBI: I believe we also knew each other in China about 600 years ago, where she was my mother-in-law.
BOBBI: I had a brief viewing of myself also as this really buff Mongolian horseman. (Laughs) I don’t have any other information but the visual was really clear. He was standing there just really kind of full of himself and no shirt on. (Elias laughs and nods in the affirmative)
So in my non-ever-ending quest, searching out my intent, I did have some imagery in a meditation. (Elias grins) Well, this time I might be getting close! (They both laugh) I was standing at the base of three waterfalls that were pouring down on me, and I was being kind of worn away by them and my edges smoothed down. I can’t figure out how that is my intent. I’m not sure how that translates into an intent, but is that a clue to it?
ELIAS: (Looking very amused) Yes.
BOBBI: Also, a different time I had an imagery of being sort of like the catcher position in baseball.
ELIAS: (Nodding) Yes, somewhat.
BOBBI: I’m not sure how it goes together.
ELIAS: Visualize a diamond and its process from the rough to the facets, which is quite in correlation with your waterfalls. (Pause)
BOBBI: (Laughs) My life is a giant stress-test?
BOBBI: Isn’t that what we’re all doing, though, in widening our awareness? Refining? No?
ELIAS: Yes, but this is a specific exploration, a specific journey, so to speak, an exploration of the process of transforming. The process of transforming the essential or the essence – not the essence in terms of consciousness essence – but the essence of the individual, and the transformation of that core into the brilliance of its facets.
BOBBI: Interesting; thank you.
ELIAS: You are very welcome. (Chuckles) I am aware of your challenge in identification of this. But also your diligence! Ha ha ha!
BOBBI: (Laughs) I have a question about focus color. Does that change during different times of your life?
ELIAS: Yes. Yes, it can.
BOBBI: I would think so. I was thinking about what mine might be almost a year ago, and I was thinking it was kind of a pastel blue-gray; dove gray was the name that came to me. But I’m not sure that that’s what it is at this point now...
BOBBI: I wrote down also “light periwinkle.” (Elias chuckles) Thank you!
I had a dream viewing a while ago, all in black and white, of a very messy apartment with a Mac computer, and I knew I lived there alone and that I was still doing transcripts. Since it was in black and white, I’m assuming it was an alternate self.
BOBBI: What was interesting to me was that transcripts were still involved. So does that imply that there is some sort of agreement at some point that I would be doing this or... I’m not sure why that would still be involved.
ELIAS: Alternate selves are what you term to be – although this is not quite an accurate term – closer than probable selves, for alternate selves are another aspect of you, that is you. Probable selves are you also, but they spring from particular experiences and generate their own choices from that moment. Alternate selves are other expressions of you...
BOBBI: As this focus?
ELIAS: Yes. Therefore, they are other yous of you. They may be generating some different experiences, but they generally correlate more closely with you. They are just different expressions of yourself.
BOBBI: I’m kind of getting an idea of a probable self going off more on a tangent, and an alternate self is kind of more in step and going more parallel.
ELIAS: Yes, yes.
BOBBI: I had a dream about a year ago where I was brushing my hair looking in a mirror, and I could see that my ears were huge, these great big ears and big long earlobes, like a picture of the Buddha. I was horrified, of course, in my dream, and in the dream I thought, oh yes, Elias validated a Buddhist monk focus for me. When I woke up I remembered that we had never talked about that. So in thinking about that dream, I got the message that I was “one of” the Buddhas. My translation of that would be that either there was more than one historical Buddha, or that I was an observing essence of that focus.
ELIAS: To both questions yes.
BOBBI: No kidding! So I was an observing essence to one of the Buddhas?
BOBBI: I have an impression of a focus of Lawrence’s. I was watching an old movie with the actor Herbert Marshall in it, an actor from the ‘40s, and I had this instant recognition; I was so glad to see him. Is that a focus of Lawrence?
ELIAS: Yes. (Chuckles)
BOBBI: It’s a reality.
ELIAS: That is a reality and that is a truth – what you would term to be a real truth. (Chuckles)
BOBBI: I was thinking if that was a belief, I could pick up that belief, so to speak, and that might be the one overriding belief that would kind of speed you on your road to acceptance of other beliefs, that one. So it’s not really believing it...
BOBBI: ...it’s simply knowing it.
ELIAS: Whether you believe it or not, you do it.
BOBBI: It is a reality.
ELIAS: Yes, that is a truth, and therefore it matters not whether you believe it or do not believe it; you do it, regardless.
BOBBI: I had a dream a really long time ago where someone was explaining to me that time was doughnut-shaped, and it made a lot of sense. You could be on the doughnut shape of time here and there was a direct line connecting you to anywhere in time. Was that simply my explanation to myself or is there any “truth” to that? (Laughs) Also, that brought up the question that although we have a linear sense of time, it could still appear to be linear and yet curve around and match up to itself. Is that correct?
ELIAS: It can, yes.
BOBBI: Does it, in this physical dimension?
ELIAS: It can. It does at times, and it can. It is dependent upon the perception and the allowance of the individual.
BOBBI: I guess I’m still thinking in very concrete physical terms, like our far remote future is the same as our far remote past.
ELIAS: It can. It is a very similar principle to the shape of your planet, and whether it was flat and whether it is round. It is your configuration of it, and in this, time may be configured in many different manners. This is a translation that you have offered to yourself to incorporate an understanding of the flexibility of time and how it can be incorporated in many different manners. That is a possibility; it can be configured in that manner.
This is the reason that you invent, so to speak, futuristic stories or motion pictures of what your societies, what your planet may be in the future, which resembles the primitiveness of the past. This does not spring from nothing, so to speak. There is an actual recognition of that possibility and potential of bending time in that manner and generating probabilities and choices and actions that would create that type of manifestation in association with time, that your future becomes your past, for you have bent time in a different manner. Although it appears to continue to move in a linear fashion, in actuality it has been manipulated in a different fashion. You may be configuring time in many, many different manners.
BOBBI: Which was why the doughnut shape seemed so efficient, because it could also expand or contract, and yet the impression of moving in a linear fashion was still continuous.
ELIAS: Correct. And it may appear from a particular vantage point to be straight or flat, but from a different vantage point it may appear to be circular.
BOBBI: Thanks! Makes sense.
ELIAS: You are quite welcome.
BOBBI: I just have one last question, about a dream I had just recently; actually, it was a series of three dreams on three nights.
The first night, the dream was I was moving into this horrible small apartment and I was married to the man who is now my next-door neighbor, who is a nice guy but has a real knack for doing annoying things. (Elias chuckles) I was in there and I thought all my things are gone and what am I doing, and the few people who were there seemed sort of puzzled and annoyed that I would be making that choice. I woke up feeling really disturbed.
The second night the dream was that I was moving into this beautiful new house. It was huge. I was looking out the windows at this gorgeous enormous swimming pool and the rooms were very, very big, just huge. There were a lot of people there, almost like a house-warming party, and it was wonderful.
The third night I had a dream about our current neighbor across the street, who was adding on to his house, rebuilding it. When he was done it was very large, quite a bit bigger than it is now, but it all looked shut off in the front, the windows closed and the door closed. I woke up feeling upset by that in some way.
I’m not really sure what that... I got the impression that it implies that there is some sort of choice to be made.
BOBBI: It reminded me in tone of another dream I had several years ago when I was deciding if I should leave my job or not. That dream was really clear, and the answer was really clear from that dream. This had a similar feeling, although I’m not sure what issue is involved or what the choice is.
ELIAS: It is not one choice. This dream imagery is expressed in relation to choice in general, and how you may manipulate in conjunction with whether you are restricting yourself or whether you are allowing yourself, and what you may create in allowance of yourself in conjunction with what you want, or how you may restrict yourself in association with your choices if you are not listening to yourself, if you are not paying attention and not allowing your own freedom.
The imagery that you present to yourself is to not merely be restricted – that is your initial dream imagery – but to be fully exposed and allowing of your freedom and generating wondrousness. In the third dream, you image expansion but blocked, which is another possibility, that if you are widening your awareness, as you all are, you may continue to block yourselves and restrict yourselves, regardless that you are widening your awareness, by continuing to focus upon what is familiar and not allowing for your own expansion and your own freedom. Therefore, you may be widening your awareness but also creating blinders.
BOBBI: It had a funny correlation, those three dreams, to events that happened last week. I thought was I seeing those events, but I thought there was more to those dreams. So maybe it was sort of a physical manifestation reflection of the dreams. (Elias nods in agreement)
Thank you, that’s it for today! Unless you have something encouraging that you could tell me.
ELIAS: I am always encouraging of you, Jale! (Laughs)
BOBBI: I know you are; I know you are! (Laughs)
ELIAS: Ha ha ha ha! I am continuously supportive of your movement and encouraging of you to be expressing of yourself and to be trusting of yourself, which you are much more as you continue, and you do offer yourself much more of an acceptance now than you have previously, which I am acknowledging of.
BOBBI: Thank you.
ELIAS: You are quite welcome. Now embark upon your new adventure of yourself – not your adventure exploring obligations and expectations, but your own adventure of your own freedom and your own directions. This is greatly to be encouraged.
BOBBI: I’ll work on polishing that diamond.
ELIAS: Ah, yes and watching it sparkle! I offer, as always, my tremendous affection to you and my dearest friendship. In great lovingness and fondness, my dear friend, au revoir.
BOBBI: Au revoir, thank you.
Elias departs after 32 minutes.
