Power Users Tip of the Month - Page Search

Last month we looked at using our web browser’s SEARCH function to search individual webpages once they are downloaded. This month we’ll build on that. For example, did you know that the Digests Table of Contents page, available as a link in the left margin on EVERY page, contains ALL of the key terms and concepts that Elias has presented to date? They are also cross-referenced, so whether you are looking for information on pets, whales, or dolphins you will find links to "creature consciousness" on the SAME page.

Keyword searching on the Digest’s main page is a quick way to find something:

1. Open your browser search (PC users = CTRL+F keys, Mac users = OPTION+F)

2. Type in a keyword, and click on Find (or some variation). You will jump to a link on the Digests page.

3. Then, click the link (blue or purple) and it will automagically take you a Digest hot link (also indicated by a triangle/bullet and file size -- e.g. [ 234 kb ]).

4. Click on the Digest link. Ta Da!

The Digests provide a DEPTH not found in any single Transcript. So if you’re ready to dig in, the Digests are for you! The idea is that after you assimilate the core ideas in the Digests, reading any Transcript will make much more sense, whether you know the person/people or not.

Also, you can use this technique on the Exercises, Library, and Transcripts Table of Contents pages.
